Didier van der Hove (born 13 December 1966) [1] is a Belgian-Colombian telenovela actor.

Biography

Didier van der Hove was born in in Brusells, Belgium and moved to Colombia when he was 10 years old.

He is a soap opera actor recognized in Spain and throughout Latin America.

His popularity soared after world-famous best-selling novels such asEl Zorro: La Espada y la Rosa,La tormenta and Pasion de Gavilanes .

In 2008 he became embroiled in a scandal when it was reported in Chile by the staff of the hotel where he stayed, for having sex with his boyfriend, a minor. Chilean law has not matched the age of sexual consent for homosexuals, which remains at 18, while for heterosexuals is 14.[2]
